Help Me Promote My Workshop

Running your own workshop sounds like such a good idea doesn’t it? You get people to pay you for all your great advice, and having seen how brilliant you are, once the workshop’s over the chances are people will become clients of yours anyway. What a result! And if you can sell 20 spaces on that workshop as well then you’ll make a nice fat profit from something that’s essentially a marketing activity…

The reality is that it doesn’t usually work out that way. Getting bookings is harder than you expect (and it’s not usually to do with price – at least not in the way you think), you end up having to discount and give spaces away and the whole thing turns out to be a bit humiliating.
